Below is a list of commonly asked questions, both from a technical and a user view point.
Is it easy to create an online publication?
Yes - Simply sign up (for free) to our system and just upload a PDF to get Start.
How do I pay for my publications?
Our new "one price" system offers a simple pricing structure across the board. Page credits
are purchased in advanced. The larger the number of pages, the cheaper the page price. To view the page
prices, log into the VMS and click "buy page credits".
How long do page credits last?
Page credits remain in your account until they are used up. They never expired and there are no
additional fees.
How do I embed the VCAB onto my website?
Log in to your VMS and you
can copy and paste the HTML code. There you will also see a step by step guide to embedding in your website.
Once I have published my VCAB, how long will it be live?
The VCABs are hosted for 12 months. After the 12 months you have an option to renew your publication. This can
be done via our VMS and secure credit card system.
How will I know if my VCAB has expired?
The VMS will show you if you have any VCABs to expire. You will also receive an email
7 days before it expires.
Who created the publication?
Our VMS will allow you to create and edit the publications. If you require Skin re-designs or additional
interactive content, the VCAB team will be happy to quote for bespoke work.
Can I host my publication?
Yes, however this is not recommended. VCAB has a dedicated solution with Rackspace engineered specifically to
host the VCAB publications. We can provide a stand-alone solution, but some features will be disabled
and there will be additional costs.
Once the VCAB is live, can I still make changes?
Yes. There are no restrications once the VCAB is published. Simply log in to your account and make the changes.
Your VCAB will be updated in realtime.
